:o) Enjoy
Laughing
Fun and silly
Bouncing, shaking,
big mouths.
Best when done
with you, me and more.

What to Do
4-19-2003
M. C.
lives way,
way afar.
The love in
our heart
keeps us from
being apart.

Live Happily Ever After
4-19-2003
Heavy, sleepy
eyes.
The night snuggles
me closer
Pulling me to
bed.
But I dont want
to go yet,
Evil must be
defeated.

Color
Poem
4-18-2003
Red is a rose my dad gave my mom
and the blush she tried to hide.
Orange is a
shiny muscle car
happy, tough and ready to race.
Yellow is a
VW Beetle that gets 4 points!
and I take the lead over Josh.
Green is the
trees waving to the grass
saying, "What a nice, new cut!"
Blue is full,
wet water for swimming;
spending the afternoon with the fish.
Purple is the
month I was born
fresh and new like the snowflakes.
True Peace (Five Senses Poem)
4-18-2003
Sounds like
a distant breeze
dancing with the forest.
Smells like
cool water racing
over smooth, wild stones.
Feels like a
warm, strong hug
when you need it the most.
Looks like a
wide open horizon
and not a cloud in sight.
Tastes like
biting into a
strawberry picked from the vine.
It is what courage
is made of.
If I Were...
4-18-2003
If I were a
marshmallow
I'd be roasted
over a campfire
And never catch
fire
and play Kamakasi
bomber.
I Wish...
4-18-2003
I wish for a
million pretty candles
I wish my room
was always clean
I wish I had
soft fur
I wish I didnt
have to pay bills.
I wish it could
snow just on my open hand
I wish my car
could fly
I wish guys
werent so hard headed
I wish I could
visit my childhood
I wish I could
watch a butterfly reborn
I wish my sister
didnt bug me so much
I wish I had
a big farm, house, family.
I wish I could
ride a horse through the stars
I wish I could
see him smile right now
I wish I could
turn into animated goo.
I wish I could
fly
I wish writing
papers came naturally
I wish there
really was music that plays
when you're
happy.
Anger (definition
poem)
4-18-2003
Anger is someone
eating your icecream
Anger is stubbing
your toe
Anger is missing
the bus
Anger is people
making fun of you
Anger is being
called a liar
Anger is loosing
control
Anger is the
cat puking on your bed at 2 a.m.
Anger is red
Anger is vicious
Anger is reckless
Anger is taking
no prisoners
Anger is a snake
full of venom
Anger is a boiling,
steaming creature
Anger is irrational
Anger is having
no one to blame
Anger is crying
inside
Anger is unforgiving
Glimpse
of Rain
4-11-2003
A carpet of pink
Spring goes
on all around me
Petals have
fallen.
White branches
laden
Shattered snow
lay lonely
My tree is single
A squirrel darts
away
His crime interrutped
Am I late for
class?

The Way That I Am
2-25-2003
Unopened,
brushed with dew.
Fearful longing
permeating love.
The most gentle
insistance of time
through tears.
Held tighter
in bright sorrow,
and lighter in Joy.

After History Class
2-10-2003
Stepping through
the doors pushed
open by airs of purpose,
sunglasses slipping
effortlessly
across her vision,
the unfamiliar
sound of war drums marched
across the hillside to her panorama.
Five thoughts
clicked in her mind's narration
of highschool football,
redcoats,
a marathon of lynch mobs,
and the war with Iraq
- or was it an Indian Warrior?
A growing breeze
urged her steps forward
through time
and purpse gave
way in shades
of golden light flecked with amber.
Next class in
one hour.
