Kayaking in Chambly

Stuntman occasionally pops up behind Marius restaurant.

Here's a common occurence here at the headquarters of " Ça flotte Kayak overlooking the Chambly basin in southern Quebec: students practicing the art of the Eskimo roll, a necessary skill if one is to recover from a kayak that tips over.

However, in this case, the overturned victim is none other than the underwater stuntman. Unimpressed with normal everyday activewear, he turns winter sports gear into summer sports fun...

Safety gear may be a little much tho

Today he floods his green Skiroule snowmobile suit and Nolan N-34 full face motorcycle helmet. Not to worry. He is well versed in the art of heavy duty resistance swimming. Aside from that the helmet is quite buoyant and the suit will allow him a much longer more comfortable immersion period.

When asked whether it's easy to right the craft, a straight answer would involve months of practice with a qualified instructor.

The stuntman holds his breath as a neighbor's dog practices his rescue techniques.
