FAVOURITE SITES 

My favourite websites are ones that have to do with writing or illustrating. Some of these websites contain a lot of  tips on the ins and outs of writing for children. Here are some of my current favourites:

Canadian Children's Book Centre

Keep up with what is happening in the world of Canadian Children's books.

Write4kids

This is a great site with a message board where you can chat with other children's writers and illustrators

Murray Kimber

Murray Kimber is a wonderful illustrator. He has won the Governor's General award for Illustration.  His other (non-children's book) illustrations and fine art are stunning and there are numerous samples on his website.

Elly Simmons

I found Elly's site while surfing the Yahoo illustrator's list. Elly's paintings are gorgeous.
