"Japan, Tokyo 1945"
Game Master: Michal "Amiboshi" Kučera

Kindred of the East is a Role-Playing Game with officially existing rules (White Wolf Co.). If you don’t know what that means, have a look at Changeling: The Dreaming ;)
This time we travel to Japan, not long time ago... The year 1945. Tokyo is bombed and burns, Japan is near to lose the World War II. The ancient gods seem to have forsaken the country. In the middle of the destroyed city a small group of undead demons fights for their own survival and for saving the worthy. But there is still a worse fire-storm to come...

Player Characters, "Hikaze no Wu"
(Family of the Fire-wind):

Akki

Petra Lukačovičová: Seien Akki

Tyger! Tyger! Burning bright!
In the forests of the night
What immortal hand or eye
Dare frame thy fearful symetry!
--William Blake

She is a fierce fighter wielding a sword she named Itoshii, which blade can be prolonged thanks to a chain and used like a deadly whip. Being tall, dexter, lively and beautiful, this Devil She-Tiger has a very developed sense for pain and passion. She often wears her long black hair tied in a manner, it resembles a tiger's tail or a whip, and has a black drop-shaped sign on her forehead. Her name means "strangely beautiful demon" and she was the mortal older sister of Atarashii Komachi, during her life.

Peter Szmuda: Sunzo Takahana

Ich ramme wie ein Amboß
Meine Faust in dein Gesicht
Bein Aufprall meines Zornes
Regt sich nichts, regt sich nichts
--Tanzwut

Sunzo seems to be around forty years old and doesn't look like a nice person. His head is shaved with the exception of a short pony-tail. During his mortal life he took part in sumo tournaments, later he cooperated with yakuza. Only his death prevented him to become a yakuza-boss. He likes to run his business behind the back of his family, which slowly rises disagreement. He follows the spiritual path of Resplandent Crane which makes him an even worse pain in the neck. He had the same teacher as Hikaru.

Komachi

Lucie Lukačovičová: Atarashii Komachi

What's the use in hanging 'round these walls?
Lamps are burning but nobody's at home...
You can't stay, no you can't stay!
There's a time to walk away...
How's it feel when there's time to remeber?
Branches bare like the trees in November.
--Mike Oldfield

Quiet and pale, Komachi is her elder sister's opposite, although their beauty can be compared. Komachi with her sad and distant stare, with her love for poetry, knowledge, calligraphy, stone-gardens, meditation and the Yin-worlds, resembles an unreachable icon. Her touch freezes all living plants. She wears her hair loose and often plays with a semi-precious stone circle with the pattern of Yin and Yang. Her name means "new Komachi", after the famous poet Ono no Komachi, whose beauty and talent is well known. Recently she took with her a mute boy Kim, who had been her father's gardener and she had taught him to write and read.

David Korejtko: Ogata Taiko

Ties and tracks and broken hearts
It's all we're leaving behind!
It doesn't matter what we're losing,
Only matters what we're going to find!
--Meat Loaf

Is eighteen years old, beardless, short-haired with bright eyes. He comes from a mortal family of theater-actors, but when the war started, he left home and went to the front. And then things went wrong and he ended undead. He wants to leave behind his past as a soldier, but hates Americans and considers them his enemies. He likes to play go with Komachi, although he always loses, because he doesn't concetrate enough to win the game. Taiko also skilfully plays the three-stringed lute shamisen. Actually he's Yang-imbalanced, more alive than some mortals.

Radek Krotil: Kobe Hikaru

How can I ever feel again?
Given the chance would I return?
I've never felt so alone in my life
As I drank from the cup which was counting my time.
There's a poison drop in this cup of Man...
--Nightwish

Hikaru looks around 35 years old, charismatic, broad shouldered, with grey hair and no beard. He follows the dharma of Resplandent Crane. In his mortal life he was a policeman and worked undercover to reveal the organized crime. That means Sunzo is not very happy to have him in the family now - the cop and the gangster working together, both Resplandent Cranes and pupils of the same dharma-master? Hikaru can be trusted, he doesn't keep secrets and tells the others what is going on. He knows his duties and is likely to become the moral compass of the family.

Kasumi-no-odoriko, the Nushi - is the family guardian-spirit, sent by the goddess Uzume, the goddess of mirth and dance. Spirit's name means "The Mist-Dancer" and he likes to change masks and transform.
