Transport Sight (p.42)
Objective: Listening and oral of transport words
Target group: 4-12 years old
Number of students: max 30
Materials: Flashcards of transport (either picture or word), CD with sound of transport
Steps:
1. Teacher dresses up like a tourist (e.g. sun-glasses, hat, backpack).
2. Stick flashcards on the board.
3. Revise the name of transport. Teacher can invite students to act out the vehicle or how they look like when taking it.
4. Tell the students teacher is going to travel.
5. Ask them to guess what the teacher is taking and seeing during the trip.
6. Divide whole class into two groups and play the CD. The representative needs to pick the correct flashcard and pronounce correctly. 1 point will go to that group.
