April 29, 2001: XEW Aggrivation: Jax vs. Taker
On the debut XEW/UWF show, long time UWF roster member and UWF Hall of Famer Jax was given the nod to face short lived 'Taker' in a one on one match for the title. Jax earned a clean victory to claim the gold.
May 18, 2001: XEW Friday Assault:
Jax is injured after a successful title defense over Scorpion Steve, and his title is vacated due to his inability to defend it the following show.
May 22, 2001: XEW Massacre: Chain Match: The Titan vs. Albert
Newcomer "The Titan" Aerius Hyrule and veteran Albert were scheduled to be the next in line for the title, and The Titan paved his first title reign in what would be the start of the most dominant career in UWF history.
June 15, 2001: XEW Tuesday Switchblade: The Titan(c) vs. Albert
Hacker X ended up costing The Titan this match, as the two were scheduled to meet leter in the month for the Universal Championship. Albert began a succesful run as champion.
July 31, 2001: XEW Tuesday Switchblade: Albert(c) vs. Jax
In a size mismatch, Jax began his second title reign with a strong vistory over Albert. Jax lived a short title reign, as the Thunder title was announced to be retired in just two weeks.
August 15, 2001: XEW Over the Edge: Hell In A Ring II: Jax(c) vs. Scorpion Steve
Winner: The last match for the title was held in a hellacious Hell In a Ring match, where the object is to contruct an incline to toss your nemesis from the cage, to the tables below. With younger brother Dante's help, Scorpion Steve claimed the victory.
August 15, 2001: XEW Thunder Championship Retired.
As promised, the belt was retired after that match, being part of the unification for the Rocky Mountains Championship, won by Neo McHenry.
December 18, 2001: UWF AMMO: XEW Thunder Championship unretired & renamed to UWF AMMO Heritage Championship.
Scorpion Steve, still a member of the UWF was given the rights to become the first champion, and he lived a succesful run as the champion of the untelevised program, AMMO.
Febuary 5th, 2002: UWF AMMO: Scorpion Steve(c) vs. Alpha Wolf
In what would become the most dominant reign of the time, AlphA Wolf upended Scorpion Steve and started what became known as "The Year of the Wolf". AMMO's champion at this time set records for wins, and was never thrown for a loss for Alpha Male's Mighty Object.
June 21, 2002: UWF Reload: Alpha Wolf re-named champion as UWF ends its two month break.
July 2, 2002: UWF AMMO: Alpha Wolf(c) vs. Snakebite
Snakebite becomes AMMO Heritage Champion, defeating the long time AMMO Heritage Champion. Snakebite, a very powerful brawler, would hold the title for just over a month.
August 13, 2002: UWF AMMO: Snakebite(c) vs. Switchblade
Michael 'Switch' McCormick had no interest in claiming this title as his own, wanting only to fulfill the clause set forth by Nick Bower, hoping to unretire the UWF Xtreme Wrestling Championship. The clause was never met, as the UWF closed before it could be done.
September 27, 2002: UWF Closes. Title is vacated.
