The best sports in my world:
- Snowboarding: Santa this year was really good to me - I picked up a seasons pass to Mt. Washington, as well as a Burton Rush board and Deelux boots.
- Basketball: I used to play back in high school, but I bumed my knee and missed the University tryouts, now I just coach my brothers U15 team.
- Trail Running: I recently started to like running, and if it's on a trail I can just keep going it seems like forever - and I can take McKinley my lab retriver cross with me.
- Body Surfing: Around here the only time to go is during the summer and sometimes even then it's too cold. I love my wetsuit (yea Ripcurl) and my body board. Best and closest place for me is French Beach!
- Wind Surfing: Something I hope to start this summer!!
- Surfing: I am so excited, I went surfing for the first time at Long beach, I had lessons from Inner Rhythm and they very much kicked ass! Can't wait to get back out there..
- Martial Arts: Something I wish I had more time to do! Want to know what's what with the arts.. Check out the Guide to Martial Arts
The Stuff the occupies my spare time:
- Red Cross: I teach as part of the global education program, Landmines, War affected Children, and Natural disasters. We go into schools and teach kids about the world they live in.
- Sunday School: I have a Sunday School class - they are aged grade 5-7, and they are great, I wish I saw these kids more often.
- Youth Group: I am currently having some issues with the guy I organize it with, but again great group of kids so it balances out!
- St. John Ambulance: Volunteer first aid, I love it - I also hold a few higher ranking positions. It's a great organization!
There are a couple things that I still want to get into right now one is climbing, and I hope to start that with my brother soon the other is dance. I haven't done jazz or tap or the like for at least 6 years!
