British War Bride Sued for Divorce

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (AP) – Believed the first British war bride to be sued by her American husband for divorce, Mrs. Bridget M. T. Waters appeared for a court hearing today on a separate maintenance suit she filed in the hope of effecting a reconciliation.

The husband, Frank T. Waters, who married her in England in 1944 while he was employed by an aircraft company in North Ireland and she was a nurse in a British hospital, recently sued for divorce. He is a bank teller here.

Bridget Waters arrived by plane on 13 Apr 1946 leaving from Paris, France. She was from Cootehill, Ireland
