Queens’ Use to Carry Aussie Wives Urged

Immigration Minister A. E. Caldwell Monday suggested that one or borth of the great British ‘queen’ lines be put into service transporting wives, children, fiancés of service men to Australia and for to England.
He said he opposed the projected refitting of the Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth “to win” dollars for the British Treasury.
