Chance Acquaintance
These two young misses in London find they have a common interest – that of reaching United States to join their Yankee daddies. Shirley Anne Meyer (left) 18 months, daughter of Sgt. Robert Meyer of Vallejo, California gets into conversation with Helen Burgess, 30 months, daughter of S. Sgt. George Burgess, Springfield, Mass. Meeting place was Waterloo Station, London, where they were on the first lap of the trip to the United States with their mother and other G.I. wives and children.
