A-6E Intruder
The A-6E Intruder was a carrier-based, all-weather, night and day
attack aircraft used by the Navy. The A-6E was first introduced in
1979 and was retired in 1997. The A-6E flew at low altitudes and
attacked ground targets using both guided and unguided weapons with
high accuracy. The Intruder was replaced by the F/A-18.
