2)Second officer can only be held along with a rank of at least LT.jg , and another officer position, but not necessarily Chief officer in their particular department.

3) If there is no councelor onboard, the position is held by one of the medical personnel, but not necessarily Chief officer in their particular department.

4) If there is no diplomat onboard, the Captain or any other senior officer may be used as the diplomat.

5) One civillian may hold 2 or even 3 positions on one ship if they so wish, also, civillians may travel of the ship, and persue their own plots on other Ships/Starbases/Planets ETC if they so wish; Or, they can follow the plot of their originating ship.

5) The listed 'civillian' can take on any role they wish, from a family member of the crew, a barber, school teacher, shop owner, explorer, free hire bounty hunter (so long as they arnt found out) and any other job you may care to take.

6) Special operations+ STAR team positions can only be held in conjunction with another role, generally Tactical/Security, Intelligence or JAG, but choosing this is the captains perogative
