Promotion & Fund-Raising in Our Lenten Campaign

Promotion

1. Colour posters were made and posted on the notice boards in campus to promote our coming events in our Lenten Campaign.
2. To promote the Season of Lent, we posted large weekly posters that we got from the Catholic Church Lenten Campaign Authority around campus every week.
3. 40 sample donation boxes were placed on tables at LG5 and LG7 canteen to promote our functions.
4. We notified our members of our board exhibition and fund-raising functions by e-mail, diary, and phone calls.
5. Three boards were made:
(i) The Way of Cross;
(ii) The Meaning of Lent;
(iii) A brief description of KATSO and our functions
6. We set up a counter outside LTC.  We have excos and members on duty at every time slot from 10am to 6pm during 5/4/00 -- 7/4/00. 
7. We distributed key-holders and calendars to people who donated money.
8. Scriptural reflection in the Season of Lent was created in our homepage.

 

Result

1. HK$ 1154.00 was raised in our campaign.
2. 3 new students were added to our contact/mailing list.
