MOM
This year I will be homeschooling
all remaining 5 children still at home. This year I have 7th, 6th, 3rd, 2nd, and 1st grade. I have an engineering background in powertrain components. I have been homeschooling now for over
17 years. I was also a homeschool support group leader for about 3 years. I used to write a monthly newsletter for 5 years until I just couldn't manage the time anymore. I have been published, completed curriculum reviews for newspapers & magazines, and have also been on television.
Recently I have returned to my love of art and have began teaching other homeschooling students. It took me well over six months to create a two year art curriculum that focused in on God's word for each and every lesson and yet still maintained
the national art educaiton standads. My goal is to publish my Christian Art Curriculum for other homeschool families. My favorite hobby, (besides sleep) is quilting! I love fabric! The 'f'' word
in our house is FABRIC! Um...good sale at Jo Ann's Bye!

KIDS
Ali is the oldest
of the nine children and is 27. She graduated from college and has been in
Santa Barbara, CA working for five years now. Cassandra is
23, married and loves little kids, having her first little girl this May. She has been
in ballroom dancing for seven years and hopes to open a studio. She courted her now husband and just
graduated college with a degree in communications. Andrew, who is 22, was my math hound! He loves to cook, play the piano and
guitar, and play with the dogs. He is married and gave me my frist grand baby! Rebecca just turned 20 and has been blessed with a great talent in drawing and sketching. She started having seizures a year
ago and her medicine is controlling that but it has caused a delay in her getting her license. She is currently courting a very nice young man who is going into his senior year in college. Katheryne is my 14 year
old who loves volleyball and drama. She has been writing since she was 1 year old and now writes short stories and skits. February '07 however, Katheryne started having grand mal seizures and was
disgnosed with epilepsy. We now have that under control with medicines and I would be glad to share about this with other families that are new to it.
Hannah is the light of the world and my now 12 year old! If you want to see an angels eyes, look no further! She is very smart and at times we feel she would do well in the CIA or some covert ops. Then
there is our little Samuel who has no end to his energy. He loves to play video games like his older brother
and is his incentive for doing all his schoolwork. He too was diagnosed with epilespy but thank God has not suffered any seizures as yet.
Brianna is our smart 8 year old who has a wonderful smile. She is my tomboy and is trying to pass Smauel up in schoolwork. Our
last little one was born one year to the date after I lost my mother to cancer. She will be turning six here soon and is
full of spirit. I consider myself truly blessed with them all!
