ABOUT THE SUOFThe SUOF is organised and run by the student members. It was primarily set up to provide a forum for Orthodox youth on campus to meet eachother, discuss ideas and issues, and support eachother in their spiritual life. The fellowship today continues to offer such support and encouragement whilst providing a range of presentations on many different topics giving members the opportunity to learn more about their Orthodox Christian faith. Activities are not restricted to the campus alone (sizeable as it may be). Many events are organised throughout the year that take place external to the twice-weekly meetings. These events include: Annual Monastery visit, Church tours, nursing home and hospital visits and seminars. On top of all this we still manage to find time to organise social events such as pizza hours, video nights, soccer matches, bowling nighs, picnics and bushwalks. The SUOF provides an easy-going atmosphere that encourages participation. Everyone is welcome, orthodox and non-orthodox alike. All meetings are informal and discussion is welcome. If you have any questions, or would like more information, please , or come along to one of our meetings.
