Cycad Easy Base User Interface The user inteface was designed in such a manner that it would give the end user maximum usage of the graphical interface by means of using the mouse to navigate through the database performing various tasks such as Editing, Inserting, Deleting Browsing and Printing records. Particular attention to detail was given when it came to ease of use. The user is continuasly assisted by tooltips and an assortment of messages guiding the user throughout the use of the software. Database We used Interbase 6 for our database design in the software. This product is supplied with the Cycad Easy Base Installation package and is without cost. The user incurres no additional cost in downloading this software. We found the database architexture to be solid and reliable with minimum effort to maintain. Please note that Interbase 6 has to be installed before the Setup for Cycad Easy Base is run. Data Fields The following fields of data can be captured on Cycad Easy Base per given Cycad Specimen.
