DID YOU KNOW THAT...

• The club's former name was "Cocolife Mountaineering Club." It was only change in to "United Trekkers Club" when Cocolife declined the use of their corporate name when the club tried to register it to the SEC
.


• Jun Dizon was the one who gave the club's name.



• The club was registered in SEC in 1994.

• U/TREK was officially born on Jan. 26, 1991 at Siniloan (Famy).

• The first minor climb was on March 9, 1991 - Famy

• The first major climb was on Sept. 14, 1991 - Banahaw

• The club organizaed the first Clean Up Manila Bay Project. in 1993.
