I grew up in a very small village about a half hour south of Dayton, OH called Germantown (no, we don't wear leiderhosen). But since married lived in three different cities in Ohio before moving to our current home city: St. Louis, MO. My wonderful husband, Brian, attends Covenant Theological Seminary in the hopes of someday becoming a pastor--our reason for moving here.

I hold a degree in English and previously taught both ninth grade and senior English while we were still in Ohio. I currently enjoy simply being a wife and mother. It gives me a great opportunity to cook for Brian, who thankfully, is not a picky eater! In my free time (usually after Caleb is asleep) I like to read or write.
