Linkin Visits Elton - Feb 23
At the recent Elton/Billy show at the Union Center in Philly, Linkin Park was playing nearby at the First Union Spectrum and decided to stop by and see Elton. The whole band came to visit Elton backstage before the concert.
The Rainforest Foundation Benefit Concert - Feb 23
Elton will be playing again this year for Sting's Rainforest Benefit Concert at New York's Carnegie Hall on April 13th, 2002. Sting, James Taylor, and Ravi Shankar are the first performers to be announced for the annual concert.
Elton as Britney's dad?!? - Feb 23
According to Britney Spear's official website, Elton would like to play Britney's father in his next video. Elton explains it like this: "I like this concept and my director wants to do a continuation of the same night--the same era but from a fan's perspective. Justin will come onstage and we want to use a girl, get it from a fan's perspective." He also adds, "If we do it, my personal favorite would be Britney Spears. I want to play her dad in the video. That would be incredible. It'll be along the lines of...I won't let her out and she wants to go to the concert and she runs away."
