The Historical Laws Project -- DEAD LINK!
According to the site owner:
The Historical Laws Project is the first step toward the realization of a personal dream: give researchers easy access to the historical laws of the American Colonies and States, as well as the historical laws of other countries, as an aid to historical and genealogical research. . . .
At the moment, the collection includes most of the probate laws of Great Britain and the British Colonies that became the thirteen original states. All the laws listed in the Tables of Contents have been transcribed or scanned, and will be converted to HTML over the next few months, with updates on a weekly basis. In addition, abstracts of some of the marriage laws of some of the American States are available.
There is a Virginia section on the site.
