The Rebels entered their fifth year in 5-on-5 league play at Logitech Ice at San Jose (formerly known as the Ice Centre of San Jose).

The Summer season has the Rebels entering the league with three teams: One team each in the D Division, DDD Division and E Division. All three squads qualify for the playoffs but exit early in each division's single elimination playoff game format.

The Rebels entered the Winter season with three teams even though potential controversy sprang up from the League Office prior to the teams' signing deadline: A roster player shortage among two teams in the E Division. Eventually, the Rebels 3 team is placed in the EE Division.

The Rebels' three teams qualify for the playoffs in their divisions: D Division, DDDD Division and EE Division. Sadly, the winter season ends with another early exit for each squad.
