The Rebels' History
2005
The Rebels entered their seventh year in 5-on-5 league play at Logitech
Ice at San Jose. The Summer
season has the Rebels entering the league with three teams: One team each
in the D Division, EE Division and EEE Division.
2004
The Rebels entered their sixth year in 5-on-5 league play at Logitech
Ice at San Jose. The Summer
season has the Rebels entering the league with three teams: One team each
in the D Division, DDDD Division and EE Division.
Two squads qualify for the playoffs and, again, exit early in each
division's single elimination playoff game format.
The Rebels entered the Winter
season with three teams at Logitech Ice at San Jose. The longer
winter season ends up being a rebuilding year of sorts as all three squads
do not make the playoffs in their respective divisions (D Division,
DDDDD Division and EE Division).
2003
The Rebels travelled to
Airdrie, Alberta, Canada,
for the fourth consecutive year to play in the 6th Annual Ladies
Recreational Hockey Tournament. The Rebels returned home with a
seventh place overall tournament finish.
The Rebels entered their fifth year in 5-on-5 league play at Logitech Ice
at San Jose. The Summer season
continued as the Rebels entered the league with three teams: One team
each in the D Division, DDD Division and E Division.
All three squads qualify for the playoffs but exit early
in each division's single elimination playoff game format.
The Rebels entered the
Winter
season with three teams even though potential controversy
sprang up from the League Office prior to the teams' signing
deadline: A roster player shortage among two teams in the
E Division. Eventually, the Rebels 3 team is placed
in the EE Division.
The Rebels' three teams qualify for the playoffs in their
divisions: D Division, DDDD Division and
EE Division. Sadly, the winter season ends with
another early exit for each squad.
2002
The Rebels did not go to Las Vegas in February this year but
our neighbors in the East Bay, the Oakland Seals A team, continued
their winnings ways by becoming the Intermediate - 1 Division
Champions on their return trip to the "Gambler's City".

The Rebels travelled to
Airdrie, Alberta, Canada,
for the third consecutive year to play in the 5th Annual Ladies
Recreational Hockey Tournament. The Rebels returned home with their
first A Division - B Runnerup award and a fourth place overall
tournament finish.
Meanwhile, the San Jose, CA-based Spitfire joined the Rebels in
game play at the April Airdrie tournament as the second ever U.S. team
to play in the Canadian Invitational tournament.
The Winter 3-on-3 season
ended with two teams. The returning Champion Rebels won
the division title by a 3-game margin with a 7-4 record. No playoff
or championship games were played during this season.
The Rebels entered their fourth year in 5-on-5 league play at Logitech Ice
at San Jose. The Summer season
marked the first time the Rebels entered the league with three teams: One team
each in the DDD Division, DDDD Division and E Division.
The Rebels' 3-on-3 team is no more as the league is discontinued by
decision of Hockey Workout. Team players continue to play ice hockey
on other Rebels' team squads.
