Well, here it finally is. Everything about the site and me that you wanted to know but were afraid to ask. Basically this section is for links to site related pages that I don't want to add to the site navigation bar on the main page for fear of cluttering it up. It is also a place for me to add odds and ends that don't quite fit elsewhere. Some of the links to the right are the same as on the main page, but most are different.
History - The tale of "Fire & Ice" actually starts before its conception with the story of my first website, "Dark vs. Light" which is my Star Wars website.
Basically what happened was that "Dark vs. Light" had been unexpectedly deleted from its servor when the webspace provider decided to no longer host free websites. This and a desire to revamp the site layout (as it had been pretty basic up until then) had me searching online until I had taught myself about cascading stylesheets and more about how to work with tables within tables (within tables, within tables ... ). It was then, while trying to convert my old site with this new knowledge that I realized that it wasn't going to turn out well that way.
Having recently started writing for the Harry Potter fandom that I'd fallen in love with, I knew that I wanted to have a second website. With the realization that I was better off starting from scratch to create a template before converting my Star Wars website, I started creating a second site with what I had just learned.
Thus, in December 2004, "Fire & Ice" went up, a much nicer and more sophisticated site than I'd ever yet created. Since then, new stories and sections have been added, though overall the site didn't change dramatically until May 2007.
In April of that year it had become obvious that hosting "Fire & Ice" on a free account was not going to work any longer as it started exceeding the limited bandwidth allocated to those types of sites. Because of this, I moved the site to its present location and used the opportunity to make a few changes that I'd been planning to do anyway. The first of these changes was to add an Index page to the site. The second was to create this Site section with the Site History and Webmistress page.
