Listening to the Young and Old: · Help at summer camp for disabled children · Tutor at local schools, Boys/Girls Clubs, etc., etc. (and/or play with them!) · Help in retirement/convalescent/senior homes/senior centers · Assist at elementary/middle school carnivals (do things like face painting, etc.) · Make cards for CHOC hospital (and other children's hospitals) · Participate in an elementary/middle school's PAL Program (Peer Assistance Leadership) · Make candy bags for senior citizens' center · Assist with elementary school activities · Do arts/crafts with children (at library, etc.) · Help with your local library's summer reading/reading enrichment program · Assist at a Salvation Army Child Care center · Work at community activities for kids (Easter egg hunts, Halloween/Christmascarnivals, arts/crafts, Family Days, etc.) · Work with K-Kids and Builders Clubs or elementary/middle school students' service activities · Volunteer at library (children's section, etc.) · Meals on Wheels (work with sponsoring Kiwanis Club?) · Help at a shelter for abused children · Help a local Ronald McDonald house · Make cards for Special Education students · Visiting senior citizens · Visit kids at preschool/other places · Work with elementary or middle school students at Homework Club · Hold a Junior Olympics · Mentor with Big Brothers and Big Sisters (Part of Key Club International's Major Emphasis Program too) · Supervising children at a child care center · Bingo night at nursing home · Make baskets for children at pediatrics center at local hospital · Host a Senior Citizen prom Educating about Substance Abuse and Violence: · Work with D.A.R.E.
