A Special Thank You to a SOLID GOLD LADY!!!

Valkyrie Boxers would like to gratefully acknowledge our very special Mentor Velda Rounsaville - Har-Vel Boxers

For over 20 years Velda has patiently answered my thousands of questions, given guidance and support, gently corrected misconceptions and errors, and given me the benefit of her knowledge and experience whenever I talked to her.

She has always been here for me, even through the most trying times of her life...the loss of her beloved Harold, a battle with breast cancer, frustrating bouts of lymphodema, and much more. There is no way to adequately express my gratitude.

Velda graciously and willingly accepts new "students" who truly want to learn about the Boxer, and she encourages her "advanced" and "graduate" students to follow in her footsteps...educating and encouraging the newcomers. I hope and pray that I will never let her down or disappoint her in this endeavor.

Some of her "students", once they have attained a bit of knowledge and some success, now claim the credit for themselves or give it to others. There are many others of us, her "graduate students", who know better! It is our hope that they will recognize this lapse in manners and correct their behavior.

Thank you, Velda Rounsaville, for all you have done and continue to do...for me personally, for Valkyrie Boxers, for all your friends and followers, and most importantly...for the Boxer -- the breed we all love so much!
