Fun Stuff To Make!
Recipies for Play Dough, Bubble Soultion, Flubber and More!!
Bubble Solution
2 cups of dishwashing liquid
6 cups water
3/4 cup corn syrup

Combine ingredients in a container and shake well.  Allow to settle 4 hours before using.  Use cake, pizza, or similar pan for suds.  Avoid foam.

Bubble Soultion 2
1/3 cup dish soap or baby shampoo
1 1/4 cup water
2 tsp sugar
1 drop of food coloring

Combine.  Pour into unbreakable bottle.  Experiment using plastic straws, pipe cleaners formed into loops, spoons with holes, etc.
Flubber
2 cups white glue
1 1/2 cups water
food coloring (optional)

1/3 cup water
1 tbsp. Borax

In a bowl mix glue, 1 1/2 cups water and food coloring.  In a separate bowl, mix 1/3 cup water and Borax.  After mixing ingredients in each bowl, combine the two.  No matter how surprised you are, keep mixing.  Mix well!  To thicken add more Borax. (Borax can be toxic, use with caution)  Store in a Ziplock bag.
For looser slime, add more water, but note the slimier it is the easier it may be to stick to cloth!

Foot/Hand Print Plaque

1 (16 oz.) box of baking soda
1 cup cornstarch
1 1/2 cup cold water (food coloring may replace part of water)
1 Tbsp. corn oil (Optional)

Combine baking soda and cornstarch in a medium saucepan.  Add water.  Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture reaches consistency of moist mashed potatoes, 10-15 minutes. (If clay is cooked too long, finished plaque may crack)  Makes about 2 pounds of clay.

Remove mixture to plate and cover with damp cloth.  When clay is cool enough to handle, knead on cornstarch dusted surface until smooth.  With your hands or a rolling pin, flatten to the desired shape.  Press foot or hand into clay while it is still damp.  You can write name and date.  When dry, paint, then finish with acrylic spray.
