April 2001
The first week of April we will be finishing up our study of the ocean. Our classroom is brimming with fun projects of sea life! We were enjoying the ocean so much we had to continue it into the new month- Don't forget we will celebrate the end of our ocean unit with a beach party on Friday the 6th!
During the second week of April we will be talking about signs of spring and we will be getting our packages ready for our new pen pals! To learn more about our new pen pal project please click here. On Thursday April 12th we will be holding our Spring Party; if you would like to help plan the party for the class please return the sign up sheet I will be sending home. Don't forget that on Friday April 13th there is no school!
During the third week of April we will be learning about the rain forest! This is my favorite unit of the year. We will have wonderful centers during the rain forest unit and the literature we will be reading is amazing! Our study of the rain forest will be an exciting adventure!
School will be closed April 21-29th for Spring Break.
