Back in the fall of 2001, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund and Kinko's Inc., launched the Put a Face with a Name campaign to collect a picture for each of the 58,229 men and women whose names are inscribed on The Wall.

More than 2,500 photographs were collected for the permanent online photo collection on The Virtual Wall during the four month campaign.

Although the free opportunity at Kinko's ended on December 31, 2001, the Memorial Fund continues to work toward the goal of 58,229 pictures.

In April, 2003, VALOR contributed about 75 photos from its Wall of Fallen Heroes in DuPage County, Illinois. Please visit our Virtual Wall of Fallen Heroes. All the names have been linked to The Virtual Wall website.

A remembrance has been placed for each of the 109 men from DuPage County, Illinois who gave their lives in the defense of freedom during the Vietnam War.
