Profile: Dr. Robert E. Lee

Dr. Lee is director of the Niagara Institute of Applied Psychophysiology and training director for the Axciton International Academy of Applied Psychophysiology. He is a retired U.S. law enforcement officer from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, the former Senior forensic examiner and technical supervisor for the Los Angeles Police Department forensic polygraph unit, and former chief examiner for the Colorado Springs Police Department. Dr. Lee has administered specific criminal examinations for various prosecutorial agencies, defense attorneys', government and law enforcement agencies internationally. He was appointed as a defense expert in Orange County, California and continues to consult with defense teams in Capitol offenses. He has conducted in excess of eight thousand detection of deception examinations and has testified as an expert in court.

Currently, Dr. Lee lectures internationally and trains law enforcement and clinical psychologists entering the PDD profession. He has conducted classes in eleven countries and acts as consultant in sensitive investigations. His experience and acumen in cross cultural testing have earned him international respect.

Dr. Lee was educated at the University of California Los Angeles, California State University Los Angeles, American Institute Southern California, and Southern California University Division of Professional Studies. He received specialized training in Clinical Hypnotherapy, Biofeedback and Forensic Psychophysiology. His certification in PDD was conferred at the Gormac Institute, Southern California and advanced training at the FBI Academy, Quantico Virgina, and the Department of Defense Polygraph Institute at Fort McClellan.
