When asked why we chose to frame this year's TAG unit around the life and work of Leonardo da Vinci, our esponse has been, "Why not?" We truly cannot imagine a persona that exemplifies the life of a gifted learner more than his does.
In Il Maestro, the children meet "the Master," as he was known, and learn about the times in which he lived. The purpose of this is to give students a foundation of background knowledge around which to construct their future learning. It is expected that this part of the unit will take 3-4 weeks.
