Hello There!

Welcome to my home page. I am very glad that you are here to know about me. My name is Vani Indrani Surangi. I am married and living in US(California). My native place is Srikakulam (Andhra Pradesh),a district in India. I got my Bachelors Degree in Computer Science from S.R.K.R. Engineering College ,affiliated to Andhra University in 2002. Now, I am pursuing Masters in Computer Science from California State University, San Bernardino.

My Interest:

Drawing, Painting, mixing my ideas to some old fashioned crafts and trying to do new things are my hobbies ..I used to watch my uncle, Late. Ramesh Kanugula, who was a very good painter. At first I started simple pencil sketches and later on I become professional in pencil portraits and sketches. I put myself through a lot of study regarding various techniques involved in Oil painting and have chosen my style of painting. You can find the improvement by time to time in my Oil paintings page.
Regarding to My crafts, I am always interested to make something new or want to change a old model into new model. Whenever I see a good design or new type of hand made crafts ,I challenge myself for recreating it or modify it into a better one .Of course , I achieved most of them. My home in India got filled with all my crafts and decorations. Now I am in process of filling my home here in US too : ).
My Favouites:

I always get mesmerized by watching works of Raja RaviVarma , A great Indian Painter. He is the best. I love pencil works of J.D.Hillberry ,a master in Pencil Drawings.
My Family:
I really felt lucky to have a great family back ground. My father Mohana Rao is working as District Youth Welfare Officer and Ex-officio Chief Executive Officer ,SETSRI of Srikakulam district in Andhra Pradesh. Previously he worked as a Principal for a Government junior college(equivalent to Chair of a college in US). Organizations he is currently involving are ..

My mother Nirmala Devi is the president for Saraswathi Educational Society Srikakulam.My elder sister, Raji is a doctor and my younger brother, Bharath is doing his bachelors degree. My Brother-in-law, Naresh is working as a Software Engineer in Igate Mastech., USA.My husband, Kalyana Chakravarthy is my best friend, my sweet heart and everything. He is a Oracle DBA and working in Compudata Health Corporation. I had a never ending list of great friends& relatives. I always feel great to have them.

I am always thankful to my family and friends for supporting my interest, giving a good feedback every time I made a new one. I must tell about my husband now, ’without him I may not achieve my goals, every part of my credit goes to him’. Because of him only, I am able to spend time for painting in spite of my busy schedule.

My Students:
