Here are the photos of our trip. I separated them on the cities we were at.
Gulistan
- This is Amie's hometown in
Uzbekistan. The gold teeth and unibrows
are an impressive spectical.
It was a little bit on the warm side
while we were in Uz., like over 100° everyday.
Samarkand
- The old buildings in Samarkand
were all pretty sweet, but I don't really remember any of the names.
One of the best parts of Samarkand was the
hotel with air conditioning, and Amie was a big fan of having a tour guide.
Bukura
- The insane little souvenir selling girls were kind of a highlight as they spoke incredible English...
and then were incredibly annoying when
we tried to leave.
Tashkent
- If you ever go to Uz, you'll
realize that there are a lot of bribes among Uzbek people.
One bribe I would never suggest taking
is going up one level higher on the TV or Tashkent Tower.
