Vaprrenon gives what could only be described as a sudden, blurting roar, and the two startled cyberpets pause in their actions. Two confused faces look up at their master as the spinning feathers in the air slowly float to rest on the rocks. Tenta snorts angerly, shaking her head as she sat back down. Meb-heb slowly starts calming down, laying in her nest to feel more secure in the face of such maddess.

"Gantu, Marrow, knock it off in front of our guests, alright?" Vaprrenon grumbles, glaring at the pair. You watch the two both blink simultaneously, trying to untangle themselves from each other, a mess of tan fur and feathers of yellow, white, and black fluttering about.

You guide sighs and looks back to you, gesturing to the yellow griffon of the rowdy pair. "This crazy girl is Gantru," she introduces, looking up at the creature as the griffon tried to groom herself to look more presentable for you.

"Bunch of tomboys, the both of them," Vaprrenon sighs, rolling her eyes. "Gantru is the younger of the pair, a bit smaller...but that doesn't seem to matter to her much. Heck, she's usually the one who starts the fights," she grumbles, glancing to the now too-innocent-looking pet.

"You two are hopeless, aren't you?" Vaprrenon mumbles. She shakes her head and looks back to you. "Come on over. They're harmless as anything once you get them to calm down and stop squabbling with themselves. I promise everything'll be fine. I'll make sure the double-trouble duo behave themselves."

"And this little terror," your guide introduces as you start over finally. "Is Marrow, a rare black and white griffon. Her egg was certainly a lucky find..." Vaprrenon glanced over to the other female griffon trying to look presentable after the play fight. "...I suppose. Sometimes I wonder," she teased, grinning at her pet.

"Girls, girls, quit it!" Vaprrenon snaps, tapping each of their breaks. The two griffons look confused, but quit their fighting and step apart from each other, as if to say that they would behave. You look to Vaprrenon to make sure all is well before stepping near to the pair again.

You place a hand on Gantru' neck and, figuring it best to stay on the safe side of things, offer your other hand to Marrow. Perhaps it would be best to give both of the rowdy griffons attention at once to avoid any further conflicts altogether. You are relieved when this seems to satisfy the both of them.

You smile, watching the happy creatures for a time before looking back to Vaprrenon, who is standing on the edge of the mountainous ledge again and looking out over the valley. You frown, pausing in the attention you are giving the griffon pair to ask what is wrong. She turns around to look at you, and offers a slight smile.

"It's getting late," Vaprrenon says with a shrug. "I guess you should be getting back. I have to round up all these guys again before they wander off to settle and get to sleep." She smiles, folding her hands behind her back, swishing her tail from side to side as she stood before you. "Whenever you're ready we should go. Maybe next time you can get to meet them all...I'm sorry it's taken so long as it is."

You sigh, realizing that it is, in fact, getting rather late. You had not realized it while visiting, but you can now see that the sun is setting very quickly over the hilly horizon. You nod reluctantly and look back to the group of griffons. All of them look pretty sad at the news of your leaving. You offer them a smile, giving each of the remaining four a ruffle of their head feathers before turning to tell Vaprrenon that you are ready to leave now.

"Ready?" Vaprrenon asks you. Receiving a nod from you, the ishna creature smiles, pawlike hands on her hips. "Alright, then," she announces. "Let us go, then! Come back for a visit some time soon!"

You let out a yell when you feel some rock beneath your foot slip, and you soon find yourself falling the hundreds of feet back to the ground. Vaprrenon quickly grows smaller from your vantage point, and you panic, wondering if you are going to die from all of this, even when you see Vaprrenon take flight on her large, batlike wings as she tries to dive down toward you.

Before the other ever reaches you, however, you feel yourself hit something. You cling for whatever it might be, only slightly surprised when you felt a mixture of fur and feathers in your hands. You hug the griffon tightly, looking up to see which one had caught you. You blink in surprise to see a new Gatathla griffon, this one a chocolaty brown color. You smile, thanking the animal for saving your life.

Vaprrenon smiles, swooping down beside her pet to glide with the two of you. "Thank heavens...I was worried!" she laughs. "Good thing Telnid was in the area! I had no idea she was around today." She smiles, poking the brown griffon's feathered cheek as she flies. "Dear, I owe you a whole sheep for those heroics of yours!"

You smile, snuggling down against the animal's body. Being with Telnid makes you feel safe, and no wonder! The griffon flies on after Vaprrenon, who is now leading the way toward another mountain. You wonder if that is the way back to her strange, grass-covered portal room. Maybe if you are lucky you will be able to meet at least one more griffon along the way, before the sun sets and you cannot even see their beautiful colored plumage.

Vaprrenon soon moves to land on a terrace-like landing. She moves aside for her cyberpet, watching Telnid land. You slide from the griffon's back, scratching under her chin, again saying how thankful you are for her actions. Your legs are still a bit shaky from the event, but at least you are alive.
