You turn, looking up toward where your guide appears to be looking in order to perhaps see what on earth has grabbed her attention so quickly. You blink, seeing a few floating shapes against the colorful evening sky. You smile excitedly when you are able to tell that they are griffons! You certainly hope that they are not ones you have met before; it would be nice to see old friends, but you want to meet new ones all the more right now!

You let out an audible laugh when the largest of the shapes slowly begins to come into view, happy to see the griffon is a stranger! You have yet to meet a beautiful orange one, after all! Telnid, by contrast, does not seem nearly as excited as you are, and lays down around you. She lays her large feathered head down, though she keeps her eyes open to see what is going on.

You nearly trip over the brown beast as you try and get out of the way of the landing cyberpet. It shakes its large head, looking over at you with its sharp eyes. Vaprrenon laughs from behind him. "This is Golle, my orange male griffon. The others must have flown off to tell him and others that you were around and about to leave. They must be here to meet you before we disappeared on them!"

You smile, glad to meet the new creature. You walk over, petting the top of his soft, feathery head. You hope Vaprrenon thanks the other griffons later for finding and informing Golle and the others about your presence. You like to meet Vaprrenon's many cyber pets, after all. Golle coos softly, glad to be getting your attention. This only makes you smile more.

Golle looks up at the sound of a hawk-like shriek. You jump at the sound, looking up in amazement to see another griffon has gotten much closer to your landing terrace during the time you have been petting the orange male. You step back from Golle when he suddenly snorts, not looking happy. He beats his large wings, taking the the sky and abruptly taking off into the distance.

Juu strolls over to you proudly, not seeming to realize she has chased off another griffon at all. She nudges your arm, seeming to expect you to automatically pet her. She certainly does seem to think highly of herself, does she not? You roll your eyes at the pastel blue creature's demeanor and give in, rubbing her head and stroking her neck. At least her feathers are soft, almost like velvet, really. Despite her ego, you smile for her.

Vaprrenon is glad to see that Juu is at least trying to behave herself and be less demanding than she usually is, but still shakes her head as she watches you and her large cyberpet. The ishna sits down on a large rock you never noticed was beside her until then, content to watch you meet and greet with the rest of her Gatathla Hundansta griffons before heading back home.

You look up at the sky. It is dark out, now, barely any sun left in the sky to see by. You can still see an approaching griffon, though it is still far off. Before you had thought it a bird. Now, you realize, it was simply too far away and appeared only as a small dot on the horizon. You cannot help but feel a bit special; all these large creatures are flying such a long way just to momentarily meet with you. You make a mental note to visit them again in the future to thank them and spend more time with the lot of them.

You stroke Juu a bit more before the griffon seems to quickly grow bored of your company. she yawns, her beak opening wide. She shakes her head, as if to get your scent off of her feathers, and turns to leave. You blink, honestly a bit confused by her sudden change in attitude. She jumps from the high terrace, soaring off the way she had come.

Vaprrenon merely shrugs. "I'm sorry...she's like that. I sometimes call her the girly brat of the bunch. I still don't know why she turned out like that; I treated her like all the rest...but so goes the ways of cyberpet parenthood, I suppose. You can only influence the little ones so much before they decide who they want to be."

You are surprised at how fast the griffon is traveling. It seems that the cyber pet arrives in no time, dropping from the sky with a loud thud, leaving a few good cracks in the rock underfoot. You blink, staring at the teal colored griffon. He shakes his large head, and you are amazed at his size. He somehow looks so much bigger than the others you have met thus far!

You stand back up, though timidly. The griffon is so large that you definitely want to make sure he is gentle enough to approach. You certainly do not want to get mauled by that powerful beak! Seeing Vaprrenon give a smile an nod to you, you slowly walk over to the huge monster, offering the beast a friendly smile, just to be safe.

Luckily, this new griffon seems quite friendly, cuddly even! He rubs his feathered head against your side, swishing his lion-like tail happily behind him. You laugh, amused to see that perhaps the largest griffon in the area seems to be the silliest and most innocent. You rub his head gently still, enjoying his company for the time being.

Vaprrenon eventually stands up, offering you and your new friend a smile. "Well, I...guess we should be going soon, sadly. It's getting late...and Shantoinia needs to get back to his nesting grounds." You nod, realizing how dark it is now. Your eyes had been adjusting to the darkness, but now that you really looked around, it was obvious the sun was long gone. You need to get home soon.

You sigh, patting Shantoinia's head gently. You hate to see how sad the griffon looks, and avoid looking the creature in the eyes any longer. You look over to Vaprrenon, who is starting toward a fair-sized cave. You figure that must be the passageway back to her strange room of framed portals.

Shantoinia looks at the wo of you sadly before turning around to nudge Telnid, obviously still wanting attention and someone to play with. The brown-colored griffon seems to want nothing more than to sleep out on the rocks, and has decided to throughly ignore the larger Gatathla griffon in hopes that he will soon go away.
