Even in this digital age, the quality conscious people depend mainly on film cameras and transparency film. We also do the same. The image detail and optical density range of the transparency is better than any other digital equivalents. Even the best photographs become useless if not handled properly in the pre-press stage. What you see on print need not be the same as what you get on Transparencies. Films can record images in millions of colours in a wide OD range of 4 or more. Our eye can recognize billions of colours. But during the print it will be down-converted into a few thousands of colours at an OD range of just 2.0. Due to the limitations of four colour processing and printing used for printing photographs, lot of manipulations are required to deceive the eye to see the colours which are not actually there on the print. This technical part is a part of our Pre-Press operation
and any related services you require.
