Om. Savita (the Sun, creator), possessing the highest knowledge (the Vedas), bears all the forms. He rises after the dawn (Ushas). Om

Om na yasyendro varuNo na mitro vratamaryamA na minanti rudraH.
nArAtayastamidaM svasti huve devaM savitAraM namobhiH.Om (Rig. 2-38-9)

Om. Our salutations and prostrations to the Holy Prophet Rishi Gritsamada. Om

Om. We call upon Savitah, the radiant one, with salutations for Eternal Bliss. Indra (death
1) can not disobey His rule, neither can Varuna (the winds creating clouds, monsoon2), Mitra (wind or vital force, Prana3), Aryaman (the controller of darkness4) and Rudra (thunder5) disobey Him, and also not His enemies (those who don't believe in Him). Om
Compare this with Taittiriya Upanishad 2-8, "Wind flows fearing Him (The Brahman), the sun rises fearing Him, and indeed fearing Him fire, Indra (thunderbolt) and death are running (to do their work)".
1 See, Rig.10-55-5 and Sayana's commentary. In this Mantra "Kaala" (time causing death) has been evoked in the name of Indra.
2 See, Nirukta 10-5-2 and Durga's commentary, "indeed he covers the sky with the net of clouds, therefore he is called Varuna". For further details, see "Varuna".
3 "Indeed this wind is Mitra, which flows", Shatapatha Brahmana 6-5-4-14. "Indeed these Prana and Apana are Mitra and Varuna", Shatapatha Brahmana 8-4-2-6, 12-9-2-12 or Taittiriya Brahmana 3-3-6-9.
4 "Aryama, i.e. the controller of Ari, darkness", Durga's commentary on Nirukta 11-23-1.
5 See Nirukta 10-5-2 and Durga's commentary.

7
Om udu Sya devaH savitA savAya shashvattamaM tadapA vahnirasthAt.

Om. Our salutations and prostrations to the Holy Prophet Rishi Gritsamada. Om
Om. That radiant Savitah eternally rises to create (the creation). That is His work. He is the bearer (of this creation). Indeed He gives pearls (of immortal knowledge) to him, who knows Him, and He presents prosperity to him, who does beautiful Yajnas. Om

They purify the (feeling of) guiltiness (as the Taittiriya Upanishad 2-9 states, "This self-realized soul doesn't rues, viz. Why I didn't do good deeds? Why was I engaged in bad deeds?" Because the fire of self-realization buns all the good and bad deeds). Om
