The House at Saddle Creek

Framing . . . aka Lots of Wood

Now we're getting somewhere!

The weather has been alternately rainy and dry, so the framers have been able to make good progress.

It was really exciting to walk through each room - its really starting to take shape!

Wow!  We have WOOD!

Looking from the street, towards the front of the house.

Front Framing

Looking from the Great Room to the canyon.  That's a "stamped" concrete floor - with radiant heating underneath!

Great Room Framing

Looking from the patio into the Great Room, which is half a flight of steps down from the entrance.

That curved wall on the left is going to have a mate on the right side of the room - the stairs down from the entrance will be between the two curved walls.  Got it?

Great Room Floor

This view is from the Great Room looking towards the canyon and shows the window framing above doors to the patio.

The ceilings in the Great Room will be 18 feet high!

Window Framing in Great Room

The master bedroom is half a flight up from the entrance.
