Which vehicles can run on vegetable oil?
Just about any indirect injection diesel engine has the capacity to run on vegetable oil. Some are fitted with more suitable injector pumps than others. There's some doubt about the newer direct injection engines but I know that this is being looked into and hopefully we'll have amore complete list soon.

Most vans and lorries are fitted with suitable injector systems so these are particularly good to convert.

If in doubt please feel free to contact me and I'll advise.

Some examples of suitable cars (this list is not complete)…..

    Audi 80
    BMW 318Tds, 325Tds,525Tds, 725Tds
    Citroen ZX,C15D, Xantia, Berlingo, Jumper
    Fiat Palio, Scudo, Ulysee
    Ford Escort
    Mazda E2200
    Mercedes 190D,200D.250D,330D. C200, C250, 208D, 308D, 408D,508D, VitoD, Kramer
    Mitsubishi Pajero
    Nissan Vanette, Serena
    Peugeot 205, 306, 309, 405, 406, Boxer, Exeprt
    Range Rover
    Seat Toledo, Ibiza, Inca
    Ssangyong Musso D
Toyota 4-runner, Land Cruiser, HiLux, Hi Ace
    Vauxhall Astra, Serena
VW Polo, Golf II, Golf III, Jetta, Passatt, Vento, Transporter, Mulitvan, Caravelle, LT, Taro
    Volvo 740D, 760D, 940D, 960D

Almost all of these would need to be fitted with BOSCH injector pumps (some have alternatives depending on the time of manufacture) - some of the Japanese cars have different makes but are still suitable.

If in doubt send details of your vehicle to me at tansley_uk@hotmail.com and I'll advise you.
