Campaign Summary

Adventure 11

PCs: Psion (Tank Mage), Ranger (Devil Hunter), Rogue (Magical)

The party progressed through the sewers and soon found some stairs leading upwards to a floor made of wood wich quickly buckled under the weight of the psion and the ranger. The ranger became unconcious and the other two were forced to carry him. They managed to make it to some safe ground when they found a flaming pit covered by a dome barrier. On the wall was some text which the adventuruers identified a dwarven writing but none of them could read it. They did however open a pannel behind the text which held a frozen scythe which the rogue used against the barrier unleashing the full force of the flames against himself. The rogue dodged the scathing heat but the psion however was not as fortunate standing on the wooden ground and falling, sending him into unconciousness. The rogue all alone proceeded further into the sewars without his companions and found himself faced with a mongrelfolk who didn't care that he had came since he would be killed by the pretty anyways. Fearful for his life the rogue waited for his "friends" to regain their conciousness and join him against the pretty. Forward they went into a room that looked more like a jungle than a sewar and smelled sweetly of flowers. A mound of fresh orc corpses did lie in the center of the room which the rogue tried to loot but was attacked by the corpses themselves. After a quick battle the flowers came to life and attempted to take the adventurers as new host bodies but failed just before thay had drained the last ounce of the parties intelligence. Finally they had made it out but they had noticed the temperature in the city had risen quite a bit. Outside they met Sialer the half-orc they had helped arrange a meeting for in Killen-Port who informed them they had been carrying the crown from the regalia of good all along.

Adventure 12

PCs: Fighter (Jouster), Ranger (Devil Hunter), Rogue (Magical)

A storm approched the lone fighter and she took shelter in a lone building in the countryside. Within she found a waiting room with a few peculiar people just waiting. After several mysterious deaths the fighter went on to inverstigate throughout the building fining a couple patients and an odd room with a statue of an angel which spewed noxious gas. Eventually she found an old man who had amnesia and went off to cry over the body of an elf woman in another room. Further more there was an odd man who continued to reapear throughout the sanitarium always reading runes upon the walls, yet only once were the runes visible. After slipping through the floor and waking up within a patient bed the fighter found herself with an odd disease which manifested itself upon her back. At this point she was ready to escape but found it futile as the door was sealed and the broken windows were covered by an invisible barrier. As she attempted a final confrentation with the man who read the runes he told her that he had discovered something and opened a passage leading through a trap filled coridor. At the end she found a small boy lying dead upon a black slab and the rune reading man with a gibbering mouther at his side. The fighter became insane at the sound of the gibbering mouther and attacked it proviking it into combat. After escaping the grasp of it's mouts she fled down the coridor leading the beast to it's doom down one of the trap pits. She once again confronted the man and slew him in his place after a difficult battle. The building faded from existance and she was left standing in a calm field with the elf woman who said she had come with her fater and her child to take him to Scurge so her son could be sacrificed in order to seal the furnace portal. So the fighter went forth to the city of Scurge completly ignoring the disease which still gripped her to discover more about the seal to the furnace and if it could be regenerated without a sacrifice. Upon doing so she met up with ranger and rogue who had recently parted ways with the psion. Shortly after the city errupted into flames and before the fighter knew what was going on they fled down the streets in an attept to return to the sewers. The group met up with a pair of monks who said the came from the west and would like the artifact which the group possessed. This artifact turned out to be the ring which Ine had given them and after some disscussion the group agreed to give the ring to them if they led them to the portal. However this did not happen, the monks instead led them to the outskirts of town. They could not leave due to the flames and were met by a woman who told the group to follow her. She led them to a portal and oddly sent the forward in time, and the fire had not happened. Curious the group went down into the sewers where they found the portal was still sealed and a beast of darkness they could not beat. So the adventurers nearly defeated were left to ponder what to do next.
