Drums and percussion (Ayotte drums, Zildjan cymbals)

Musical background: Jazz freak father. Started playing drums inspired by the band Kiss. Performed innumerable shows playing air drums along to Kiss Alive 1, impersonating Peter Criss. Got his first drum kit at 15 (Pearl kit of course, like Peter Criss). Has played drums and percussion in several bands including Lily and the Gigolos and Woodlands, and always in bands writing their own material.

Muscal ambitions: I want to be a musical drummer. As a drummer, I have to rely on other people's musicality, and I have to be able to read a musical whole. I would like to create memories and expressions that represent somet hing special, regarding both musical craftsmanship and sonic impressions of a lasting quality. In Velvet Belly, I'll always seek new angles to develop our sound and song structures on future albums. . Sources of Inspiration
