News came back on the 9th of January 2002
from Erik Honore to say that Velvet Belly were working
that
weekend
on recording their next album. Then in June 2002 information
was given that it was produced by Erik Honore (who's produced
all Velvet Belly's
other albums) and Jan Bang (DJ / producer). The new album was
to be mixed in Kristiansand in June, and then they were hoping
to release it in the autumn of 2002.

* A (non Velvet Belly) personal project
of Anne-Marie's , is AM & the UV, an album is due to be released
after the the Velvet Belly album. She had a gig over Christmas
at an electronica festival in her hometown of Kristiansand, plus
appearance at By Larm in Trondheim.

2001 year, Velvet Belly's vocalist Anne-Marie Almedal performed
the vocals for the Album, 'Going nine ways From Wednesday"
, it was to be be released on April 23 , then postponed till
later in the summer, and finally it was released 14th January
2002 along with a release concert the following day in Norway.
