About the Equipment

        Our involvement with the coconut industry started when sometime in 1983 TAPI-DOST asked us to design and fabricate a small coconut oil expeller suitable for use in the countryside, to extract coconut oil from copra. Since then, we have endeavoured to devise other equipment which we believe would benefit the coconut farmer and their cooperatives.
       We are proud to announce that our involvement in the coconut industry has extended to the production of Virgin Coconut Oil and small scale manufacture of coconut methyl ester.
      Simplex Extraction System was devised for the coconut farmer. All techniques, methods, gadgets and machines are all tailor-made for countryside conditions. Many parts used in the machines are available in hardware stores even in small towns.
        Regular maintenance is simple and reasonably far between. Repairs, if needed, can be done by people who fix other farm or road machinery. Our experiences working in the countryside have proven that technical knowledge is not too far behind even in the smallest villages and we have taken this fact into consideration.         Components of the system are designed by engineers and all critical machined parts are fabricated by skilled artisans. Replacement parts, if called for, are therefore readily available. Any improvement in design and fabrication techniques are also quickly utilized in new machines and parts an owner may require in the future.
