About Jos Verstappen
Mini Biography
After huge success in lower formulae, Verstappen quickly emerged to enter Formula One - the pinnacle of international motor sport - after less than two years in single seater car racing.

After an eventful debut with the Benetton Formula One team in 1994 partnering world champion Michael Schumacer,  'Jos The Boss' (as his fans name him) then raced for many F1 teams including Simtek, Arrows, Tyrrell, Stewart and Minardi. He also contributed to many other teams over the years as test driver.
With involvment in F1 from 1993 to 2003, Jos gained his reputation as a veteren racer with an aggressive and fearless style that was highly entertaining, particularly as he usually raced for lower to mid-field teams surprising on-lookers and pushing his car to the maximum.

In his native Netherlands, Jos is well regarded and is to date, Holland's most successful racing driver. He also runs his own karting team, still passionate about the little race cars with which he began.
Since Forumula One, Jos raced in the A1 Grand Prix series winning the South African Grand prix in 2006. On completing a seaon his next step was the Le Mans series where Jos and his team won their category in 2008.
