Afghan Hound
Besides hideous scarves and hats (see About Me), one of my first projects were afghans. I made afghans for my mother and grandmother and for my baby sister who was born when I was eleven years old.
I've made many afghans, but since I've been keeping my digital scrapbook, I have pictures of only a few. Most of these are my own design.

This blanket went to my nephew, Christopher, who was born in
October, 2002, but actually, I
started it for another nephew, Donovan, who was born in the previous year! Sorry
Donovan, I'm a bad aunt, but Chris and his mother like it. My own design.
I made this throw for my husband. Very simple
textured design, and my husband loves it. My own design. Click here
for the pattern
This baby afghan was made for a co-worker's daughter who was born 1/2003.
I got the pattern off a skein of Lion Brand "Jamie" yarn, but I used
Lion Brand "Jiffy" yarn.
This afghan was made for yet another co-worker's son who was born 12/2002.
I used Caron's Baby soft yarn, for the body and used Bernat baby yarn in reverse
single crochet around the edge. My own design.
I made this in afghan stitch with worsted-weight white and yellow yarn.
Used an afghan hook and added a triple single crochet border. This will go
to Newborns in Need. My own
design.
