The Cracker grew up watching WWF from his family home in Orlando. As he got older, he participated in many sports, but wrestling was always closest to his heart. At the age of 18 he enrolled in Killer Kowalski's Wrestling school and passed with flying colours. Soon after, he signed with the WWOF and a couple of weeks into his stay he defeated The Rock for the WWOF World Heavyweight Championship. Unfortunately, the WWOF closed a few weeks later, so he moved to WCWF where he also won the World Title a month or two after arriving by defeating TGO Moore and Hurly Burly in a triple threat match for the vacant title. It was here that Columbo first formed Icons Unlimited with Haz. On the final night of WCWF's existence Hurly Burly defeated him in a Hell In The Cell match for the belt. After a several month hiatus, Columbo returned to the ring in the EWL and defeated Orian for the EWL World Championship not much long after. He also reformed the Icons, bringing in his good friend Darrell Music to join him. But after a few short weeks, the EWL also folded, but not before Columbo lost the belt ...again on the fed's final card....to Eddey. When Chad and Darrell brought Icons Unlimited to the IHWF things went slowly at first. Chad languished in mid-card matches for awhile before getting a break when Ripper Jones quit the fed as current World Champion. A tournament was held and The Cracker made it to the finals and was to have met Nick Claffey at Wrestle War for the Championship, but a change of management delayed it for a couple of months until Cold Day In Hell, where the now WWA crowned it's first World Champion....Chad Columbo. A month later, Darrell Music turned on Chad and the two fought each other in one of the greatest matches of our time at Madison Square Garden. The Cracker won the brutal bout and claims to this day it was the toughest match of his career. Since retiring soon after that, Columbo has been living it up and has no plans to return to wrestling. |
