A DRAG QUEEN'S HALLOWEEN

DRAG QUEEN HALLOWEEN by Jezzi Belle Stewart ©1999

All the sequins put away Highest heels in the closet stay Big hair would mean there’s hell to pay On a drag queen’s Halloween

Keep those nails short and classy Act sedate, not bold and brassy Control that walk; try not to sashay On a drag queen’s Halloween

A bust of normal femme dimension dress to avoid right wing tension Your butt not drawing lustful attention On a drag queen’s Halloween

A skirt that falls below the knees Lingerie that no one ever sees normal for others, that’s the key to a drag queen’s Halloween

For we drag queens are lucky girls All year is sequins, rhinestones, pearls In public eye we preen and twirl In a twelve month Halloween So this one day, far and near If in costume we appear We look like YOU do all the year On a drag queen’s Halloween!
