What are swaps?

• SWAPS are handmade halfscale items that we trade with other halfscale members.
• Swaps can be with one person or with a group.
• If you are swapping with one person you will make one halfscale item and post it off direct to your swap partner before the date stated.
• For a group swap, you will need to make one item for each other person in the group (sometimes one for yourself also, if it is a large swap, this makes it easier for the swap master/misstress). A group swap can be posted in two ways. Firstly the items can be posted off by each individual to each swapper separatly. Or swaps can be posted to a central point where the swap master will swap and sort and return a swap package back to the senders.
• Swaps can be simple or complex as long as they meet the value specified in the swap details.
• It is not necessary to spend a lot of money on S.W.A.P.S. Many people make them from scraps and items you may already have.
