OOC:
The golden rule: Use your common sense. We're, for the most part, open minded people, but know when you have stepped over the line and stop yourself before it is done for you. If you lack common sense, then you're in the wrong place.

Role-playing rules, suggestions and notes:
II. Character and story are what really matter
If your sole purpose in role playing is to increase your stats and damage, again, you're in the wrong place. We try to emphasize story and character development over all else. The dice and stats simply exist as a side complement to make sure things remain fair and add an element of chance.

III. Disputes about the rules
First off, make sure the dispute is indeed about a specific rule, and not simply because you did not like what happened to a character ICly. After that's cleared, talk it over in a civilized manner with all else involved and present your case to an OP.

IIII. Player deaths, Final Deaths, backstabbing, sniping
Always keep in mind this is the World of Darkness. Everything you do has a consequence. If you insult a Prince's favorite pet, you better be prepared. Unless it affects the overall storyline on a large enough scale and in a negative way, any character Final Deaths are, well, final. Whether it happens during a 'controlled scene' cause by a NPC, or during regular rp caused by another player. Play smart.

IIV. Consistency, competence, creativity
Please always remember the setting and behave your characters appropriately. This is not an easy rule to enforce, but a strong suggestion in the interest of a better role playing environment overall. Please RP responsibly.

V. Adaption, Last Word
When all is said and done, the OPs have the last word. Don't worry, anyone who has the little donut beside their name is reasonable. Rules can and will be changed should it benefit the overall role playing experience and/or storyline. If you think something has been done that is unfair to you or your character, tough. Neither the OOC world, nor the IC world is fair.
