Website Help>Tips

What would you want in a website?
Ask yourself what you like in a website. More than likely, alot of people will like the same kind of website you do.
Make sure you have good navigation
Good navigation is key in making a website. If they can't find your links, they can't find content, no content..no website.
Don't flame other sites
Don't slash, make fun of, or flame other sites. People will find out and you will be caught.
Be aware of what the public wants
A website is like a lemonade stand. If you don't have good lemonade or if you price is to high, nobody wants any. In a website, if you don't have good content or if organization is bad, nobody wants your website. Always ask people for suggestions and critisim, even if they aren't good. Have a guestbook, tagboard or messageboard and ask what people think.
Website Help>Html vs. Pagebuilder

This part is where me (tori) and my friend Gabbie fight over Yahoo Geocities Pagebuilder and HTML. Looking at the ups & downs of both.

Tori: HTML is a very good service. You can customize your whole site to exactly how you want it.
Gabbie: Get a life sister! Everything needs to be easier now a days. Pagebuilder allows you to make a totally awesome site, instantly.
Tori: That may be, but if you want a professional looking website, you will need HTML.
Gabbie: Who needs professional? You can use the drag and drop, and you can even add bits of html in the site. It takes forever to learn html.
Tori: Well, all things worth doing you have to work hard at. HTML is a very worth while thing to learn. It can help you get a cool job, and have a very admired website.
Gabbie: Your site can be admired with pagebuilder too. You can add so much content, you don't need that 'exact coding'.
Tori: Why not have both? Content & beauty. You just have to work a little harder.
Gabbie: With pagebuilder, you can add effects & multimedia instantly! With html, you have to type out a LONG code!
Tori: In the end, it all depends on your cup of tea. If you want content & beauty all in one website, and are willing to work hard, use html.
Gabbie: And if you want an easy, fast and efficent way to make a website, use pagebuilder.

I have made a couple gifts that you can put on your site, saying loud and proud that you are, a html dude, or a pagebuilder groupie. Link them to www.geekonline.vze.com
