A Guilty Secret
As the sun rises
high in the eastern sky,
And the wet sand
flees from beneath my feet,
And above the
birds whisper, and the calm air sighs,
And the waves
rushing in, only then to retreat,
Shall my love
grow stronger and stronger still,
And of that which
my heart can only see,
Which intrigues
the mind, for it is filled,
Where only the
myths of lovers be,
And despite all
the pain the fact remains,
That my glow
is fueled by my black heart's rage,
But the memories
of your arms and your kiss leave the pain,
On my soul where
it and my guilt is engaged,
Oh I guess it
was not all an accident,
At the time I
believed it was that I meant.
